The station, designed by Ezio Bianchi, dates from the mid-1920s. The eclectic style building, about 80 meters long, is dominated by a central part that corresponds to the main entrance and the double-height hall, characterized by two symmetrical turrets framing the three large entrance arches. The arches, in turn, are interrupted by pilasters and decorated with garlands of flowers. On either side, the complex is completed by two other bodies with two secondary arched entrances.
