The Bolga Lakes are an uncontaminated place at Castrocaro Terme, where gush out and collect the renowned salsojodic waters that, by underground pipelines are conveyed to the thermal establishments. Mineral water springs in the area too, due to methane and hydrogen sulfide gas, bubble to the surface.
They are easily reached by following Via Rio Cozzi.
