An 88-kilometer route where the climb dominates, through the numerous hairpin bends that lead up to the top of the Muraglione Pass. From Castrocaro Terme follow the signs for Dovadola, Rocca San Casciano and Firenze; once in the village continue along the state road to Portico di Romagna, Bocconi and San Benedetto. The route is always in predominantly gradual ascending. Before the bridge on the right, in the square, there is a fountain: from San Benedetto in Alpe continue following the signpost for Firenze. The road from this point up to the Muraglione Pass presents challenging stretches. Before the beginning of the hairpin bends leading to the top of the pass, you enter the territory of the region Tuscany. Once at the top, there is a possibility to stop and refresh before tackling the smooth descent towards the valley floor to return to Castrocaro Terme.
