Gateway to the town for travelers coming from Forlì.
The Porta dei Tre Santi gate formed, together with Porta San Francesco and Porta San Domenico, destroyed in the early 20th century, one of the access points to the town of Bertinoro. For the construction of their hermitage they used the simple, easy-to-work stone: spungone, placing this stone at the beginning of Bertinoro’s history.
