Built between 1933 and 1935, the Rationalist style building bears the prestigious signature of the architect Cesare Valle. Designed for the sports and cultural training of the young people of the Littorio, at the time of its inauguration the building was characterized by two main sections with separate entrances: the sports section and the cultural section. The sports section includes a gym, an indoor swimming pool and changing rooms; these spaces interact with a large sports field equipped for the practice of any sport. The cultural section includes a 700-seat cinema, a large meeting room and a reading room. The building is completed by a 30 meter high tower dedicated to the memory of Arnaldo Mussolini, the Duce’s brother.
