The church belonged to the Knights of the Temple and after their suppression in 1313 to the Knights of Jerusalem or Malta. Inside a wall and among cypresses, it is a small purist building, with the neoclassical facade of sagramate bricks, with a triangular tympanum, with a stone coat of arms and on pilasters. The interior of the church consists of a single altar, under a Gothic arch, and preserves the oldest fresco in Meldola depicting the Virgin and Child on their knees and the Holy Precursor.
Privately owned church not open to the public.
