Inside are the mortal remains of the Venerable Benedetta Bianchi Porro, who is in the process of being beatified. The building dates back to the 11th century and was built on the site of an abbey founded by the Cluniacs. Interesting frescoes can be admired inside. Next door is Villa Tassinari Blanc, with a beautiful park and a tombstone of Garibaldi.
