The loggias of the Town Hall were built in 1861 and their purpose was to host the market for silk cocoons, a market that flourished in Modigliana. Between 1915 and 1920, however, the loggias were elevated in order to build the seat and offices of the Municipality of Modigliana. The pillars of the loggias were covered with cement grit that covered the original faux ashlar plaster.
How to get there: The loggias are located in the historical centre of Modigliana.
