All that remains of the ancient medieval castle of Monte Vecchio di Tedalasia is the square-shaped keep tower made of stone ashlars arranged in a filaretto pattern. It controlled the ridge path that in the Middle Ages connected the valleys of Bidente and Savio.
Opening hours: Only visible from the outside.
How to get there: Galeata is about 34 km from Forlì, along the Bidente provincial road no. 4. To reach the tower of Poggio Galmino you have to go on to Santa Sofia and follow the signs of the “Rocche e Castelli” itinerary, managed by the Comunità Montana Appennino Forlivese.
