The Church of St. Reparata, probably from the 13th-14th century, has been extensively rebuilt, especially after the last war. The present crypt was possibly the apsidal part of the original church. Inside, there is a remarkable 15th-century fresco of the Annunciation by an unknown author (attributed to the Tuscan school of the end of the century).
The title of S. Reparata, which is to be compared to that of the church in Terra del Sole and that of the Badia del Borgo di Marradi, reveals a direct influence from Florence, the city that had dedicated its first cathedral to this Saint.
The extremely picturesque location of the place, on the border between Romagna and Tuscany, makes it one of the most evocative and attractive places in the area.
Opening times: Can be visited on request.
How to get there: 6 km from the town of Modigliana, on the Marradese road in the direction of Marradi.
