The church is owned by the Giovannini and Conti families. Near the Oratory, from the end of the 16th century until 1764, there were the gallows for the execution of sentences of ‘gallows and quartering’ pronounced by the Criminal Court of Terra del Sole.
The façade is simple, but the decorative terracotta elements are valuable.
On the altar is a 17th-century painting depicting St. Rocco, while another canvas depicts the Madonna of Loreto.
A trapdoor inside the church leads down into an underground crypt where are kept tombs of Aristide Conti, who in 1869 purchased the hot springs of Castrocaro, giving a new impetus to the emerging spa industry.
Opening hours weekdays and holidays: Can only be visited externally
How to get there: By car 10 km from Forlì, SS 67 Tosco-Romagnola.
