The church is immersed in the greenery of the Casentino Forests Monte Falterona and Campigna National Park, surrounded by pastures and woodland. Rebuilt after the earthquakes of 1918-19 and destroyed by German troops during World War II, it is currently in a state of ruin.
How to get there:
Arrive as far as Corniolo di S. Sofia (56 Km from Forlì), continue in the direction of Campigna for 2-3 Km, then take the forest road in the direction of San Paolo in Alpe (as far as the barrier).
It can always be visited but only externally because it is in a state of ruin.
