Functioning and visitable mill, made of stone, with a tile roof, today the only example of a traditional ritrecine mill (horizontal wooden spoon wheel). It once had two places for grinding (wheat and chestnuts). It was restored and reactivated in 1993.
Opening hours: Every weekend. Other days by appointment only.
Entrance Fee: Free of charge.
How to get there:
The Mengozzi Mill is located in Fiumicello, a small hamlet a few kilometers from Premilcuore. Along the mule track on the edge of the stepped bed of the stream, take the road on the right before the church of Madonna delle Nevi.
