Restored in 1959, it was dedicated to the fallen soldiers and civilians of all wars.
It is located on Via Flavio Biondo and is commonly called the ‘Chiesina’. It was built in 1692 and dedicated to St Francis Xavier to fulfill the testamentary legacy of Pier Filippo Corbizzi of Castrocaro.
In 1779, due to the extinction of the founder’s family, it was passed on to the municipality.
In 1887 it was deconsecrated and used for different purposes, including as the headquarters of the local band corps.
Restored in 1959, thanks to Don Antonio Vespignani’s efforts, it was dedicated to the fallen military and civilians of all wars, portrayed in a stylised manner in the bas-relief above the main altar and realized by Prof. Angelo Biancini of the Art Institute for Ceramics in Faenza.
The inner decorations and the image of St Joan of Arc on the entrance lunette are by the Forlì painter Mario Pesarini.

Opening hours: It is open all year round and can be visited during worship times.
