Ancient village in Cusercoli. The street, which cuts through the entire historic center of Castrum Clusercoli, is bordered on one side by the walls of the fortress and on the other by the houses used as dwellings for the feudal lord’s fidelis. Even today, the small houses, lined up along the cobbled road leading up to the castle amidst mosses and ravines, have the charm of times gone by. Many have been renovated, others are being restored by private individuals who are returning to inhabit the ancient hamlet.
How to get there: From the SP 4 del Bidente road to the center of Cusercoli.
