Bertinoro, city of Wine and Hospitality, is known among tourists and travellers as ‘the Balcony of Romagna’.
The town hall square, redesigned at the beginning of the 20th century, in the heart of the mediaeval town, is a wonderful terrace offering a magnificent view of the sea and the Romagna plain, and even further if weather conditions allow. To be honest, the entire hill of Bertinoro is a special panoramic balcony that opens up splendid glimpses of the plain or the hills, depending on where you are: in the square, along via Vendemini, at the beginning of Sentiero di Bertinoro, at Monte dei Preti, or in the small square (now a car park), but once home to the E.
