From 10 October 2026 to 10 January 2027, the San Domenico Civic Museum in Forlì is hosting the photographic exhibition “Lee Miller. Works 1930–1955”.
A photographer, model, Surrealist muse, war correspondent and tireless traveller, Lee Miller was one of the most free-spirited and remarkable figures of the 20th century. The exhibition, curated by Walter Guadagnini, traces her life and career through over 160 images from the Lee Miller Archives, many of which have never been seen before.
The exhibition takes visitors through the various stages of her career, from her years in Paris with Man Ray to her fashion photography for *Vogue*, from the enigmatic landscapes of Egypt to her dramatic war reports from the Second World War.
A journey of discovery into a multifaceted and non-conformist personality, capable of continually reinventing herself and portraying the world through a free, original and profoundly modern perspective.
Opening hours:
Tuesday to Friday: 9.30 am–7.00 pm
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 9.30 am–8.00 pm
The ticket office closes one hour before the museum.
