The bell tower of St. Anthony of Padua Church was added to the complex in 1935. The tower was conceived as a powerful territorial sign, as can be seen from its size. Square in plan, built mainly of yellow brick, it has clear references to the bell tower of St. Mark’s in Venice. The cell, open on all four sides with three-mullioned windows, is surmounted by a spire covered with copper plates.
The tower is important because it is the prototype for all the bell towers of the same period in the Forlì area.
Opening hours: External visits only.
How to get there: The bell tower is located in Predappio, in Piazza S. Antonio, the main square of the town, and can be easily reached by taking the provincial road 3 through the town in the direction of Premilcuore.
